More than twenty fine art photographers explore the theme of "Monochrome" in this annually juried photography show. Black and white, and color artworks featuring a variety of photographic techniques will be on display from September 2nd to the 30th at the Pacific Art League‚s Norton Gallery at 668 Ramona Street in Palo Alto. Hours are 9-5pm Monday-Friday and 10-4pm on Saturdays.

The public is invited to an opening reception with the artists on Friday, September 2nd, from 6-9pm. The show's juror, Mark Citret, a nationally recognized photographer and teacher, will comment on the show and award prizes at 7pm. Appetizers and refreshments will be served.

The Photography Interest Group (PHIG) is composed of amateur and professional photographers affiliated with the Pacific Art League. The Pacific Art League is an educational, nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the understanding, appreciation, and creation of art as a way of enriching our community and making art an integral part of our society.
