You can get Nikon Scan to run on Windows 11, its not extremely difficult, there is a well documented process.

I currently run VueScan with this scanner on multiple different Macs with no issues.

And if you prefer - running Nikon Scan on Windows XP (free on archive.org) in a virtual machine (using Oracle VirtualBox, for instance) also works on a PC. I do this in Linux.
