Here is a beautiful old 1/2 plate Portrait Petzval. 1/2 plate is 4¾X6½ inch. 5X7 is the modern equivalent.
This was made by Bausch & Lomb, sold by Sears Roebuck & Co.
It is in lovely shape. Sorry that I do not have either the flange or any of the waterhouse stops. Stops are easily made but we buy these to shoot them wide open anyways.
This will be superb on either 4X5 or 5X7. You might even press it into head and bust service on 6.5X8.5 moved in close.
