I have a Canonet that I'm selling and I think people are afraid that the shutter speed gets "stuck" if it sits a while, but totally fine after. I got quoted $69 for a CLA of the camera and was wondering if it'll be worth it to do it.

if you sell them to folks who know what they are and want them you can get somewhere between $75 and $125. When you add postage to your repair, looks like a wash.

Or you could just have it serviced and use it.

It's a local shop, so there's that. But I'm trying to sell extra gear and this didn't make the cut.

Yhea.. The profit margin is pretty slim. You could just around a $100.00 on the bay with the CLA Label attached to it. There a lot of hipsters out there looking for these cameras.

Just sell it as it is. Getting a CLA isn't worth it if you plan on flipping the camera.

OOOO. I should post on Etsy!

Yeah, I think that's what I'm going to do.
