For Sale Selling on two different sites

Hello,
Is it alright to sell an item here and another photography website at the same time? I was thinking that it would help sell an item faster. Or is it something that is frowned upon?

I frequently see "sold on RFF or LFF" in classifieds. So I think it's alright. It would be courteous to keep all the threads up-dated.

generaly OK i think... but linking to ebay auctions or other outside sales is not.

It is probably okay to link to sales on your own website for photos, etc.
