Lots of images related to the plague. Many are redundant...I guess that's inevitable....it will be difficult for individuals to do "new" work the months ahead.

LensScratch is a weekly blog with detailed profiles of mostly-MFA type photographers who have been successful with lots of exhibitions. They're not hobbiests. Curated by Aline Smithson, one of today's best photo writers.

I find around 25% of those photographers inspiring at some level, the rest "not to my taste fwiw, but better than most that I see elsewhere..

Be brave, put your egos aside, check it out, and join. Doesn't cost anything.

Some interesting works, thanks for the links.
Think it will become more interesting as things progress and people start to go stir crazy in the social dynamic of been confined with in a group. Neighbours were having a big row at 8 am this morning.

Yesterday, a fellow photographer in California said he was awakened by a drum beating procession that cried "Bring out your dead ! Bring out your dead !"

Ha, hope he was dragging a cart. A good sense of humor is the best medicine.
My 90 year old dad had to stay over night in the local hospital for something unrelated. There is very little communicative spread in my location, the hospital is well prepared, sanitized and devoid of no essential staff and visitors. He lives in a self contained unit in a large retirement village with no cases and some of his neighbors are ostracising him because they perceive hospitals as breeding grounds for the virus, even though there are no cases in this hospital yet and they have a separate fever ward in preparation. The psychological effect on the elderly will be quite devastating and will probably cause as many deaths as the virus.

Followed by, "But I'm feeling better." "I think I'd like to go for a walk" "You're not fooling anyone old man..." etc, as I remember it...

And shortly thereafter "how do you know she's a witch?" "She turned me into a newt" (side glance at the speaker, with arched eyebrow) "I got better?".

Also "And what floats?" "Rocks...very small rocks?"

Elderly are tough. American sailors are at greater risk under command of Very Stable.

Psychologically yes, physically no.
