Hi!

I'm using Jobo Expert Drum for sheet film development. I wonder if any have experience with contrast increase of film in selenium toning in these tanks?

Taking into consideration that it is constant agitation can someone recommend:
- Time
- Dilution
- Volume
- Pre wash
- Post wash
- etc...

My idea is if I only have one or two soft negatives to process I do it together with normal negatives and then do selenium toning with the softs ones afterwards

Have anybody done selenium toning in Jobo Rotary tubes with constant agitation? Any experience to share?

Yes, selenium or sulfide toners can be used to increase negative contrats. You can hope for 1/2 grade from selenium and up to a grade from sulfide.

Wash after the last fix for 10 minutes, tone for several minutes, rinse, treat in washing aid and wash again.

The process can also be done with already processed and dried negatives, but don't expect miracles. If you want more, you need to go to (more toxic) intensifiers.
