Berg Selenium was mixed 1:3 with tap water. The negative, Ilford Pan F plus, was toned 10 min but 5 would have been enough. A 5 min presoak was used and a 15 min wash afterwards got rid of a pink cast to the film, not shown here. Unless you consider that the clear areas are now more clear on the right side as opposed to the left side. The left side is the original pink film.

Nice comparison. I have used Kodak RApid Seleniumfor this purpose for many years,but never seen it done with Berg.
By the way, toning with sepia bleach and redevelop toners increases the DR even more than selenium.

thats a great way to add that extra snap in your photos. nice comparrison, makes the point more obvious.
