Selenium sulphide for toning negatives

I have selenium sulphide toner (eternal-lux), and I wonder how usable it is for toning negatives to get more contrast.
Because it contains less selenium than pure selenium toners, I guess that at least toning time must be longer and/or I should use it as stronger mix than normal 1:9 which I use with papers.
