selenium cells: liquid or solid

I'm selling an old weston cine meter but I noticed a crack in the glass covering the cell and a prospective buyer has a question about this whether the cell is solid or liquid. The meters I've owned are solid but with older meters I'm not sure.

Any thoughts are appreciated.
