Selenium and image Dimensionality

I have the impression that after work my photos in selenium the image looks to gain more dimensionality. Do you feel the same?

Using Selenium toner results in slight change of contrast that often ads depth (dimensionality) to an image. Human perception Shadow = depth so slightly brighter tones and deeper shadows = more depth
