Horizon Perfekt is the most beatiful camera I have ever seen , its like a russian submarine
But I havent got even a single dollar to buy it or reference books.
I have knowledge about the plastics and I can produce a cheap mold and produce the body from cheap polyester and coat with polyurethane like a soldier shoe.
But problem is to put a glass in front of 35mm film.
Lens will not rotate , it will be a singlet.
I dont know anything about selecting diameter and focal lenght of a lens.
Can you help me to select from schott catalog ?
I want a 70 x 24 mm negative .

Best ,

To build a repllica of a rotating-lens panoramic camera with a non-rotating lens seems to be to be a waste of time. It is simply not possible to get anything resembling a sharp image (nor even anything resembling an image) out of a singlet over 24x70mm panorama, even WITH rotation!

Perhaps you should rather look at Dead Link Removed, who make simple cheap rotating-lens cameras with some very ingenious simplifications?
