I have Nikon SB900 flash, I am trying to trigger my flash with my light meter. I really have no idea how to do this. I watched tutorial video but it doesn’t give me detailed instructions. Can you please help me?
You cannot directly trigger a Nikon flash wirelessly with that meter. The wireless transmitter in the 758DR is for Pocketwizard flash triggers. You would have to buy a Pocketwizard receiver and hook it up to the flash's PC socket.
You can trigger the flash from the meter with a PC cord connecting the flash to the meter. To do that, put the meter in CORDED FLASH metering mode. When you push the measuring button on the meter, it'll fire the flash and take a reading.
Pocketwizard does make the Flex TT5 for Nikon with a hotshot for the SB900 and other Nikon speed lights. You'll need a transmitter, too. That way you retain the auto functions of the SB and camera controls too.

For Pocket Wizard to work, you really need three units. The L758-DR is one. Now you need a unit on the flash and a unit on the camera.
The Flex TT5 Pieter12 mentioned is something you can put on the camera.
But you can use the L758-DR in wired sync mode, actually plug the flash into the meter.
Or you can use no sync and fire the flash in the dark, the L758-DR can pick up on a flash fired in the dark.
