Sekonic L-438, where calibrate or DIY?

I like this simple analog meter with its 3 degree spot. However, it is two stops off, varying a bit over the range. Can anyone tell me who works on the L-438 before I remove the back and begin tinkering (Sekonic quit repairing them years ago)?

Thanks all...I called Quality Light Metric this afternoon, and the gentleman essentially discouraged me from trying to repair the meter. He said if it was off by a 1/2 stop, it might make sense, but two stops off would probably require a resistor or cell or other not-available part. So...screw driver and hammer in hand, I guess I'm going to discover what makes this thing tick!
