Thanks all...I called Quality Light Metric this afternoon, and the gentleman essentially discouraged me from trying to repair the meter. He said if it was off by a 1/2 stop, it might make sense, but two stops off would probably require a resistor or cell or other not-available part. So...screw driver and hammer in hand, I guess I'm going to discover what makes this thing tick!
