In reading the specs on this unit I've found so far is that the maximum readout for time is 60 seconds? Can anyone verify this for me. As a very low light and slow speed film user it's not hard to get pushed into more then 60 seconds at times of sunrise and sunset. In looking around at other meters most will read out in multi-minutes.

Long time doesn't mean that it capable of low light measurements. The specs said that it range is EV0 to EV19.9 with ISO100

Yes.

Precision and accuracy are two different animals. The instrument may be precise enough to read down to 60 seconds, while at the same time not be accurate enough to be correct when reading at that level of precision.

Or then again, it may. I don't own one so I leave to others who do to fill in that blank.

To simplify things a bit does anyone who might have the 308s meter will it readout beyond 60 seconds of timed exposure?

I have the older L-308 (non-S version). 60 seconds is indeed the longest time it can display.

Thank you all for taking time to comment. It looks like a neat unit for quick easy usage and I'm sure meets most needs.

Thanks Joe, another good option there. What I like about the 308 was the lack of dials per se. Having worked with dial type units in low light and no digital read out is not as easy with failing eyesight. Additionally, the dials can move at times and even change an ISO without easily detected. So, moving forward I've decided to keep an open thought on a purchase and not to move in haste.

The Luna Pro/Pro F's I've used have never changed ISO accidentally. It needs two fingers pressing and rotating to change it.
The calculator dial can rotate pretty easily though.
Exposure runs from LV -5 in ambient mode. The calculator extends to 4 hours. Can you say reciprocity?

Yep, that 4 hour number would be time for intermission for sure. Thank you for the link too, John.

One thing I've also noticed about certain incident meters was the fact they only scaled out to f32. No doubt fine with many lenses, but I've got a LF lens that stops down to f128 I think. I know I have one that does at least f90. So, f32 works only so well without doing math at zero dark thirty and still half a sleep.....
