I've not seen the type of post before on this site like the one I'm now making, so the moderators are welcome to delete. I've been searching for the particular camera model in the ebay link (following). But I can't read a word of it, but I know German when I see it. And I've seen online translation bots at work before, and they're not always so good. So I kindly ask help. I'm looking for a good one without problems in proper operating condition. Here is the camera in question. Thank you.

Wow. I've always wanted an XTL, but I've never actually seen one even at a swap meet.

I'll defer to a native German speaker for the proper translation, but I believe the camera's operation has not been tested.

Funktion nicht geprüft. Zustand siehe Fotos. Maße: 10x15x11 cm
Untested function. State see photos. Measures 10 by 15 by 11 cm

Don’t see anything else technical. The rest of the text are legal claims and the details of transaction are given in English.
But I shall help, if you ask for something particular.

Google Translate:

"Function not checked. Condition see photos.
Measurements: 10x15x11 cm"
...

Please note that for organizational reasons, we can not offer any other shipping methods.
No VAT possible, since differenzbesteuert according to §25a UstG.
Payment must be made within 10 days after the auction ends, please provide only if you are able to do so."

I appreciate the help on the translation. I've seen all I need to know. Just another useless listing on a Mamiya Sekor camera. They were actually great cameras and very innovative with the separate spot and averaging meters. But unless the sellers go into detail about these meters, you have to assume its just another copy with a dead spot meter cell. The averaging meter cells generally held up reasonably well. But the spot cell was a completely different type. It was essentially a wafer cell attached to the back of the mirror, receiving its light through a semisilver square area of that mirror. Typically these cells are either dead or cannot be brought into agreement with the averaging cells. This is too bad. Because back in the day, the spot meter was very handy. But now all these years later, if a seller can't discuss the 2 meters in detail, then don't buy the camera. The Auto XTL was possibly the most innovative 35mm of its day, but it never took hold in the market. Danke schoen, but no sale. That much German I CAN speak. That, und verstehen Sie?

I do not understand why you got angry.
10€ for a SLR with lens in as-is state is not a bad price. Having it in hand to check would be nice. But when I'm at a rummage box I'm typically in not much better situation: some faults may be obvious, others only be detected when I'm back home.
Thus it will be a gamble anyway.

I didn't realize the spot meter on these was troublesome. I believe the XTL uses the trap-needle system (as do a number of other cameras), which I think is sometimes a problem (I'm surprised that method works at all).
