I'm halfway through this free online course and really enjoying it. I thought others here on APUG might be interested as well.

Note that it is "aimed at a general audience interested in photography" so it might not appeal to some of the knowledgeable members on here, particularly those who have studied the history of photography. Some of the material I was familiar with but I'm finding all of it informative and stimulating. The readings and videos are well presented.

this free online course and really enjoying it.
Looks interesting, and you have to sign up. Six weeks long.. Hmmm but there seems to be some confusion, you said free... but the site seems to refer to a cost of enrollment. "Financial Aid is available for learners who cannot afford the fee." ???
It doesn't state the cost, but there seems to be one... could you give some clarity if you can.
Thanks.. .

If you want a certificate of completion, it's $49. If you don't it is free. I'm going to sign up.

What do you do about the books that are recommended if you can't get them, does this affect the advancement through the modules?
