There is something inspiring to me re this, I cant explain; though, feel that many here might find this clip inspiring in ref to how one can see art in life and apply his/her vision to it....
The whole video is long, BUT if you merely open the below video, which is hosted on Vimeo, and jump to 17:23....I think you wont be let down....the clip in ref is less than 2 mins of your life, that I swear will inspire....
Toast - Glad it inspired
Tom - Don't judge a book by its cover...give it a try....honestly....this is about photography...art...seeing...
Myself, as an analyst who looks for pattern in data all day, it's amazing to see folks in different disciplines finding pattern...applying his/her slant to it....
Thank you. I'm an old fuddy-duddy though. I will not "open my mind" on the subject of tattoos, or the mention of the word. I seek inspiration, but tattoo or pierce are words and deeds I can't abide. No insult or degradation intended. I should have said nothing, had I better tact.
No prob Tom! Seriously, the clip has nothing to do with tattoos! My 96 year old grandma would probably love the clip I mention above - just hit play, then jog to 17:23! I am serious! The text in the clip has NOTHING to do with tattoos or anything.....seriously. I will buy ya a cuppa coffee if I you don't agree (McDonalds, no Starbucks !!!! Really I wouldn't have posted this here if it didn't resonate with us apug crowd....
I don't know what a 1 percenter is. I've heard the term in connection with the wall street protesters I think. I'll go back and look at the link sometime. I simply saw the text preface, the word tattoo, and clicked on something else on this computer. My mind wanders, and inevitably drifts to something technical I can learn. It's entirely likely I saw the word tattoo and thought of a 6SN7 vacuum tube, leading me to wonder about old radar systems, and googled up that instead. The computer does not exactly inspire focused thought. No offense intended towards the OP, or others. Thx.
Somewhat inadvertently this became the most important comment on this thread.
The need we all have while bombarded with information, NOISE, chatter, time sucks and "work" to stop or slow down and sometimes look in wonder at things we might otherwise pass over.
