I decided to check this community out after an absence of at least six years. I was able to locate my old account and log in with no issues. I have spent the last day looking around and have seen a few familiar users. I remembered the massive amount of technical information and the large number of helpful individuals so I bought a subscription renewal.

I am still in western Washington state, U.S. I haven't been doing much photography for a while. Work got in the way and I have had other issues that have used up a ton of my time.

I would like to close with a big thank you to Sean for everything that he does for so many photographers throughout the world.

Don't expect to have more time when you retire? After I retired I was so busy that I could not figure out how I ever got anything done while I was working.
 
Hello and welcome back, Dave. I noticed you're located in Washington State. I have cousins and a second uncle living up there. I also noticed your handle is "mopar_guy". As a long ago Chevy racer myself we won't hold the Chrysler tag against you.....
Not to worry many of my best friends were from the Chrysler contingent. One of the best was my buddy Leroy Chadderton. He was a AA/Fuel Altered guy back in the day. His car was the "Magnificent 7". He was the first in that class to break into the 7 second barrier and later on was the first in that class to break into 6 second barrier. For a very short period of time he drove for Roland Leone in the AA/Funny Car class driving the "Hawaiian"......

I live down in Tacoma and every once in a while I meet another photographer from APUG. Maybe we'll bump into each other one day.
