BIN price seems on the cheap side, and the seller obviously doesn't know much about cameras -- ever heard of an "annual focus" lens?
The seller is located in the US, and I'd guess you're in Germany. Perhaps look at the German eBay site?

the 50mm f/1.8 series E seems to be more plentiful and is very good

I'd suspect that herzle just wants the correct period lens.

And perhaps one with prongs that work with the meter if his works. I had two opportunities to buy them at flea markets in Denmark attached to Nikkormats for $20 and passed on both already having 6 Nikon 50mm lenses.
