Screwmount Leitz Hektor on any SLR ? Infinity focus is not important but close range

I want to see what lens sees with a SLR and Leitz Hektor 135. I dont have money for another russian range finder and I want to use slr body + leitz hektor 135 + Fluro Ektar 111 f:1.5 + LOMO Cine Round Anamorphic 80mm for portrait work. Its a 24 pounds or heavier set , say 10 kilograms or more.

Is there any japanese cheap solution to use screwmount on slr ? Infinity is not important but the close range say 2 meters.

The real limiting factor would be what adaptors are available. I'd take a look on ebay and see what's available from the Chinese adaptor vendors. An M42 - LTM adaptor may be a possibility.

Use the Hektor glass on a bellows on an SLR. The head of the Hektor screws off from the focus mount. If you are lucky, you will be able to find an adapter to fit the Hektor head on normal M39 things, then to find an adapter for M39 to fit the camera bellows of your choice will be easy (I know there are M39>Pentax and M39>Nikon adapters that are very inexpensive). Leica probably made a Hektor>M39 adapter--they made adapters for everything else!

The other possibility is to find the focus adapter to fit the Hektor head on a visoflex. Behind that put on M39 extension tubes as needed to make up for the missing Viso, then a Leica M39 > [your camera] adapter.

Either of these approaches will get you infinity.

It might be easier just to buy a new lens to fit your camera.

also a bayonet mount short focus mount for visoflex that take the lens head of 135 Hector.

To save you the trouble, it performs the same as it does at infinity and 1:1. It makes magnificent close up pictures

Hello,

Thank you for all answers. I dont have money for bellows or visoflex. Above lenses bought with lots of tears.

I looked to ebay and there are lots of short written terms for this problem and if I am not wrong , not every M39 adapters for slr doesnt work for 135mm.

But its somewhere somehow. Knowing that is good. I will write lots of questions few months later when I have pension.

Canon made an LTM to FL/FD mount adapter, and all that you will be able to use it for is close focus. I don't remember the nomenclature, and I cannot find where I have hidden mine.

Many years ago I made a Nikon to M39 adapter from a metal off-Broadway nikon fit body cap and an off brand M39 lens board mount. I shimmed the two pieces using adhesive backed plastic. Cost $US 8. It enabled me to use an enlarging lens for copying with a bellows.
You could probably do a similar thing with one of the millions of off brand zoom lenses that get thrown away.
