No, but you can hide it. There's a product call Edwal's No Scratch that might help. Alternately, you can rub a little skin oil onto the base side of the negative. Be sure to clean either off after use.
 
Nose grease. Won't remove it but will fill in the scratch while you print. Clean the neg before storing again.

i was told it is a better grade
and NEVER to use nose oil :wink:

sounds like a great idea!

a lady i worked for ... trained in the 20s and 30s
totally freaked out when i went for the nose oil
( after dropping the 5x7 negative of the governor's promo shot on the cement floor :smile: )
i can still hear her say " NEVER from the nose, ALWAYS from behind the ear "
when i asked her why, she just shook her head ...

i am not to particular :smile: but i know she was ...
