How hard, cost aside, is it to change a Schneider 80-240 zoom lens from Arriflex mount to a 35mm slr mount?

Ask Century Precision Optics, now a division of Schneider. www.schneideroptics.com . I've bought lens service and a mount from Century, they're not cheap.

Don't be vague; when you ask specify the target SLR.

And what about the image circle?
Schneider produced this lens for the 135 film format for quite some time, I believe Alpa had a dedicated version, (and then they might have used the Enna lens.)
There is one on ebay for, as of now a good price but it is in Arriflex mount.
I do not need it, but it, and a similar Enna zoom, are supposed to be very good lenses.

PS--Correction the Enna was a 85-250 and was used by Exakta.
