Is there a way of determining a Schneider lenses age from its serial number?

Also, can you do the same for a Rodenstock?

Try http://www.schneideroptics.com/info/age_of_lenses/index.htm for the Schneiders. Not sure of the Rodenstocks though, maybe they have something similar.
