This is a dream lens for folks with smallish 4X5's that are wishing for some length that the bellows won't allow.
According to the Schneider Optics Archive page, the distance from flange (included) to ground glass at infinity is a mere 8 1/2 inches!
The shutter has just been serviced and is producing perfect speeds. Glass is spotless on this 1951 coated lens with both caps.
Note the aperture scale, while perfectly accurate and adequate is not factory. The original numbers were painted out and correct numbers for this lens added.
This will cover 5X7 and perhaps 6.5X8.5 moved in, but not 8X10 unless you were planning on doing heads for portraiture. In that case, darkened corners might be a plus and help draw you into the subject. This is a nice, nice lens. $285 shipped in USA. PayPal available.
