This is one of the famous Schneider cine lenses, made for the 16mm movie film format.
It has a C-mount socket as standard but I want to use the lens with APSc sensor size camera with the full image circle of the lens and so I gave it the M39 mount thread. It is adjusted to the lens/camera register of the Leica M39 mount cameras. Now the lens can be use with every system camera and a simple Leica M39 mount adapter.
I used the lens with MFT Panasonic camera, Sony NEW 5, Fuji X cameras and sometimes with the fullformat Sony ILCE 7 but here I got small dark corners.
It is a great lens for stacking as well.
The lens can use stepless in the focus range between OO – 1:2
It is a small lens with low weight but with excellent optical quality.
It is a nearly apo chromatic corrected five element lens.
Filter size is 40.5mm
It is in very good conditions, clean and clear glass, aperture works perfect, the multible blades are giving a perfect blur.
