Hi,
I have a Schneider Kreuznach Componon - S 6.8/360mm enlarger lens.
This lens was used in photo lab which has since gone digital, no longer need this lens..

This lens is in great shape.

What is a lens like this worth these days?

Thanks for any advice.

Unfortunately Not a whole lot of money. You're probably going to
find a number of them with unrealistic prices.
As Dan says, check the sold auctions for actual selling prices.

You don't remember how much you paid for it? Maybe look for an old receipt or something. It is not stolen, is it?

Did not buy it, no receipt. Came from retired brothers stuff he stored away years ago, after photo lab he worked in closed. Not stolen. Thought maybe better to try and sell than throw away. I'm not a photo guy but he was. Just looking for some valid insight.

Put it up for sale on eBay, accept what it fetches, and be happy.

either accept that its going to a dust collector on a shelf somewhere or take what you can get. Someone might want to put it in a shutter and use it as a taking lens … with a lot of bellows.

I would guess that it would sell for between $80 and $120. I have one and have used it with a lenscap to take pictures on my 11x14 view camera. It's just as sharp as the 360mm Schneider Symmar, and can even be used as a convertible lens by removing the front element.

They are fairly uncommon in that size, I would guess value more like $300-ish. The thing is, not too many people are doing enlargements from 8x10 or larger film originals, which is what this would have been used for back in the day.
