Any user of the Rollei Digibase CR 200 PRO on DPUG?

I am interested in results in scanning this film with a film scanner. Grain seems to be quite thick and the synthetic base seems to create scanning problems. The film is not easy to find either, so rather than experimenting, I would like to see the scanning results that some DPUGer has had.

Thanks for any 100% crop

I have some of that film. The first time I used it was over a year ago. Also have a few rolls that need scanning that where cross-processed by mistake. As for the grain it seemed a little heavy but very fine, IMO.

Camera:Hassy 500 C/M
Lens: 60mm lens
Scaner: Nikon 9000
Film: Rollei Digibase CR 200 PRO

A bit off topic, but is this film still available and if so in 120? A quick search shows it out of stock at Freestyle.

Jeff, thanks for your images and your link, I saw your images of orchids. Colours are very nice. I saw some full size scan and they seem to be very clean, but that's 120 and so it is probably scanned at a lower density than my usual 4000 ppi.
Do you find it more grainy, or more digital to scan, than other positive material such as Sensia?

I used to use Astia but the last batch of slides I bought was of Sensia. I am interested in trying different materials but scanning being the main final use.

I think its only temporarily out of stock at Freestyle, but you never know for sure with Rollei/Maco. I am not sure if I bought this film from Freestyle or Macodirect.de, its listed as in stock at Direct.

When I click on the CR200 in 120 I get Kodak e100VS. I'll wait and see if Freestyle gets it back in stock.

Sorry cannot help you with any info on Sensia have never used it. Have shot a little Provia with nice results, most of my film use has been with negatives films.

I've got heaps of scans of 35mm CR200, both cross and e-6 processed. I'll post some when I get home later today...
