Hey
I use a V500 which I'm very happy with when it comes to scanning 120 but I also have a folder of old 5x4 negs which I'd love to see again.
Now the easy way would of been to have bought a scanner which could scan 5x4 but as I just havent got the cash to get a V700 then the V500 was the only affordable option.

So is their any way that I could make a film holder for 5x4 that would work in my V500? Is the V500 even capable of scanning that amount of area?
I've seen various video clips and threads where people have made film holders out of cardboards etc, is it worth me attempting this?

Thanks
Vee

No. But I'm sure someone will say yes you can if you want to stitch together multiple scans.

Yes! But as Don says, it takes two scans, then a flip/invert/stitch in Photoshop. You have to make your guide so that it allows the scanner sensor to work. I just nicked a corner out of the guide.
