Scanner Advice/Recommendation

I am considering a Nikon Coolscan IV ED ($125-$150) and Canonscan 9950F ($100).

I primarily shoot 35mm slides and B&W, but some 120 (yes, I know the Nikon won't scan 120). I'm not looking to print from the scans, but primarily want to get good quality scans onto my computer so they can be shared.

Any advice when comparing the two scanners above? Advantages/disadvantages?

Thanks in advance.

I had the 9950f at one point, and had no problems with the quality for web oriented scans, and for digital prints of 35mm at small enlargements.

The other advantage of the Canon is that you can use it for reflective material too, as well as all the film formats you might ever need to scan.

The only issue with either scanner is support, since they are both off the market now.
