Never had a chance to use this in the past, however heard great reviews on ithis film

On an impulse I just bought 35 rolls of the stuff.

How stable is this film? The 35mm expires 3-2009, the 120 7-2007

5 Rolls have been frozen and the rest refrigerated.

I am not to concern about the 35mm but I just wondering if the 120 that expired in 2007 will be Ok.

Thanks

I recently came across some Pan-X film (35mm) I had in a bulk loader from 1982 and it wasn't frozen or refrigerated. Shot some and processed it. Looked pretty good, definitely not throwing it out. So yours is practically brand new by comparison.

I'd put money on it being absolutely fine.

The expiry date is only the date to which the manufacturer guarantees the film to be "perfect" given proper storage conditions (normally just reasonably cool and dry). There's obviously a big safety margin, and film (especially B&W) will be good for months, if not years, after that date particularly if refrigerated.
I've several rolls of (now o/d) Scala in my freezer, and I'm confident it will be OK when I get to use it.

If you've still any doubts, just run one film as a test before you use it for anything important.

It seems a firm called Lupus Imaging & Media in Germany have acquired the rights to sell film under the Agfa label. According to their website they can still supply Scala in both 35mm & 120 rollfilm. Dead Link Removed They are wrong in claiming Scala is the only B & W slide film in the world, because the Czech firm Foma still make one in 35mm & various cine formats.

Interesting I wish I knew, I did see BH Photo just received stock for 35mm, there price 12.95/roll + shipping. I averaged about 6.75/roll with shipping, on my recent purchase, hopefully I got a fair deal, if not lesson learned
