Pretty sexy. I recently did some studio work with a 30MP Phase One back on a Mamiya. The detail, sharpness, and clarity are just stunning. Output into some of the finest B&W prints I've ever made. Wowsers!

These new Blads will all be the later 645 format H-Series, which are all made by Fuji. How I wish they would make a full-frame, square digital sensor for a classic 'Blad… nirvana...

it's "groundbreaking" just like each and every other sensor they've produced since day one. and no, your classic lenses won't be usable on h format cameras

I've thought about this a lot as well, but if something like this were to be made, it would likely be substantially more expensive than the already outrageous 6x4.5 digital cameras. At any rate, the retirement of the 500 series bodies last year doesn't bode well for plans to develop a digital system around the classic lenses.

I get much better with film and I do not have to spend the money on a digisnapper back.

I got a Hasselblad V to Sony NEX adapter and have used them on my NEX-6. Too big and bulky to use much but kinda cool. This new product looks interesting but nothing I'd ever use.

Then there's the NEX to Hasselblad "adapter", what was it called now "Lunar"…..

Yea, shouldn't the mods close this thread or move it to DPUG?

If I wanted to spend $40,000 I would buy a brand new 20x24 camera and still have over $33,000 left over for a few lenses and film that would last me more years than this digital back will even be relevant technology...

Since becoming aware of the large scale environmental problem being caused by these lenses I have taken it upon myself to start the Hasselblad Emergency Lens Program. I will take any of these dangerous devices out of your camera bag before they cause any harm to you or your loved ones. This issue has struck such a humanitarian chord with me that I will do this at no cost to you. So, remember HELP Jerrybro will get that potential hazard out of your hands and into mine.
