Saunders Multi-Print easels

I've finally tracked down the 16x20 version of this easel, but without any paperwork. Anybody out there happen to have instructions for this thing kicking around? The movement is different than with the 810 version I’ve used for several years and I have a feeling there is something I’m missing with the larger version.

i never had an 8x10 so can't compare.

i have the same 4-bladed easel. i never had any instructions, and been using it for about 10 years. Now i did take it partially apart and clean it - taking pix along the way. then putting it carefully back together and re-aligning and "squaring" all parts. I may be missing something regarding it's use, but haven't found it yet and all seems to work intuitively.

Thanks for weighing in, but this isn't a four bladed easel, it is the commercial Multi-Print easel, with a sliding carriage and different size masks that cover the paper to allow exposure only on say a 4x5 section of the 16x20 paper at a time. The carriage then moves to allow the next print to go on an adjacent section of unexposed paper. The 810 is intuitive, but the 1620 seems to require flipping the paper 180° to do the second 8x20" area, it is this I'm trying to troubleshoot. Apologies for not being more clear in the original post - I was still unclear on how to explain what I was trying to figure out.

Do you have a picture of one of these.?
I do not think i have ever Seen/Used one before.

This is the easel and the case, positioned to load the film. There are masks that fit in the opening to make different size prints, 2x3, 3x5, 4x5, 5x7. The knobs slide the single size easel different distances inside the case, via a series of stops.The 1620 version is slightly different, thus my confusion. There is no 'SHIFT' control on the larger unit, so I am thinking I will have to flip the paper, and also the negative if I want multiples all oriented the same direction.

Here is a print from the 810 easel, 8 images on one page, all oriented the same way. I'm aiming to get this on 1620 paper, or 32 images on 16x20 paper!

Wow.....i AM pretty new to this stuff, but this is the first time i have seen or heard tell of these.
Kind of puts your average, every-day easel to shame.

They are great to work with (the 8x10 ones) - as long as you remember the sequence!
