OK, I just purchased a LPL/Saunders 670dxl.

Unfortunately it seems to be missing something, the power supply?
Does this unit use a combination power supply/timer?
Could I just splice the cord and put a standard plug on it?
Does anyone have a manual?

Thanks for any help.

I'm trying to upgrade from a little Omega C700 (which is really a 6x6). it just barely prints 11x14 from 35mm.

It should run off any 12v 100W supply if you have an EFP lamp in there.
Something like this: (link to Man Well 12V plug in supply rated at 138W)
Dead Link Removed

Occasionally you can get a power supply for free on APUG: (there was a url link here which no longer exists)

Here is a review - looks like it requires a dedicated power supply.

KHB has a used, refurbished enlarger with power supply for $810.00 .

EDIT: ic-racer is probably right about generic supplies being available.
