Saturated film with pleasing skin tones (unlike Ektar)

Portra 400. It superseded 160VC. More contrast and saturation than current Portra 160, but easier to manage than Ektar when it comes to skintones.

If you increase colour saturation you will generally end up with (Caucasian) skin tones that look more red.
If they don't go red, then you probably have a film with reduced red response.

Ofcourse soft color pallet Portrait films are going to make skin natural looking.
Kodak has quite a range of these films
Gold 200
Pro Image 100 ( rare outside Asia, just ordered some from Thailand )
Portra 160
Portra 400
Portra 800
Or then you also have Fuji Pro 400H, a little more saturated than Portra and with a little bit more grain.

But if you want very high sharpness and resolution with accurate skin tones, i persist in my opinion that Provia 100F with an 81A should do the trick.
