Just an update, I am quickly finding out, I have a heck of a lot of international orders that are not reaching there destinations, currently I have 43 orders that have been mailed, but have failed to be delivered, so I have begun working on getting these orders remade and replacement orders shipped out. So if your one of our international customers, please be patient, this year has really been something for lost orders, I have even had a few domestics go into the biosphere for some reason, and have had two domestices that were shipped and when they arrived the box was empty!

Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know, we are working very diligently to get these screens out as fast as possible.

Thanks again.

Dave, I've found that stuff sent via USPS is sometimes taking a lot longer than the listed times. Instead of 4-6 weeks to Australia 8-10 weeks is more common although the best I've had was 3 weeks. Maybe there's an unannounced security scan on outgoing parcels that is holding everything up.

Buze,

I used paypal, and you should have got an order confirmation back from paypal right after you made the order, that is if you used the same email address for your order as you do for your normal mail, I depend on the confirmation to go out when the order is placed...if you didn't get it, then please let me know.

As stated on the website we have been running between 6-9 weeks, and have been a bit behind on that schedule due to the massive amount of orders recieved this summer, we are working very hard to get caught up, but it is a daunting job, it is just my wife and I, and we make every thing by hand, I normally try to keep people updated through the couple of websites I post on, Currently I am working on over 200 international orders and have 125 domestic orders pending and have orders for several hundreds of screens from major distributors both in Europe and the US, but we are working on them as fast as possible.

Thanks for your order(s) and we will get them out as fast as we can.

No worries I knew I would have to wait a lot, no problem here; I was just wondering if I'd get an update or not..
I wouldn't say "take your time", but well, if I can get it before xmas I'll be happy :D

Now, go back to it ! Tss Tss ! :D :D :D

Just want to say that the product was worth the wait. At the Chaco field trip it seemed like half the people had SS ground glass.

Yeah...don't spend time reading this... send me my screens as soon as you can! :D

I just joined this forum and am happy to see you here. Can't wait for my screens to arrive, but I understand, and am patient.

I think that you will be very pleased with Dave's screen (s)/work. I know I am and so are many others here at APUG and throughout the world.

Dave recently crafted a screen for my 8x10. Magnificent!! I'ts my second Satin Snow. The only reason I havent ordered a Satin Snow for my third view camera is because it came to me with one.

Well, it's xmas, and no satin snow, and Dave Parker is no longer on the forum :/

I was mumbling something about it earlier in the fog, trying to frame with a f6.3 lens ! :D

I think Dave is still around, just too busy these days to post as much as in the past.

I'd suggest you send him a PM.

Also, remember, traffic on the site is generally down with the "December slump" (see Sean's thread) and everyone busy with "the Holidays"!

Merry and Happy!

I suggest you pm him on the large format forum as he seems more active there. http://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/

If you look at the first post of this thread, you'll see "inactive" under his name.

He was censored, edited, deleted and banned for expressing an opinion like so many others....

I don't know what the story is, if there even is one, but I very much doubt if your interpretation is correct.

On a scale of 1 to 10 he's about a minus 6

Closing this thread since original poster is no longer using the site, and it's an old announcement.
