No I am not trying to open a can of worms and I would contact dave directly but I cannot find an e-mail link on his website.

I ordered my glass a couple of months ago and know there is a wait. I was wondering if someone, who got their glass recently, can tell me when they ordered it. That way I can guage. The post office here has gotten very good at misplacing packages and what gets delivered does not show up for a while unless you go asking for it. Hopefully now that the winter mailing rush has slowed down this will no longer be a problem, but I like to have an idea of delivery just in case.

I know any mention of SS or dave ruffles feathers but again this is not to stir up worms.

I was delighted to find that Badgergraphic had SS ground glasses in stock for the Shen Hao I just bought a month ago, so there was no wait at all. For the ridiculously low price of these ggs, you might see if you can get one right away from Badger. It's probably worth it if only as a back up if the one you ordered arrives very quickly. They are just plain excellent! (I have one on each of my two 4x5s)

I contacted Dave about my order after 12 weeks had passed. It turns out that mine was one of many that went missing. I received the replacement a couple days later. Great service. It might be worth an email to him.

Mark,

I'm just about to order one from Dave and won't expect to have it in hand for at least 3 or 4 months. I know it's worth the wait as I already have them in my 4x5, 5x7, and 8x10 cameras. This new one is for a 8x10 to 4x5 reducing back that I just bought.

And, if you think this is long... try sending a Dorff out for restoration!

Cheers

Thanks david, I have no idea why I had not seen the address. I'll claim old age. Thge notice is the one that was up when i ordered the glass, I was wondering if things were different. I don't think it has been twelve weeks yet so I will wait a little longer before contacting. Thanks for the info.
