I've been getting a kick out of using the old super telephoto: (there was a url link here which no longer exists) and trying to get something usable out of it.

I've also got a Sigma mirror 600/8 and a Takumar 300/4 for when I can get closer or don't want to lug the big beast around and keep a lower profile.

Anyone care to meet up and perhaps grab some frames of the local wildlife? The lagoons/beaches are starting to see more northern friends so it would be good timing.

Sure, when I get my Hasselblad C 500mm lens back from KEH. They are doing a CLA. It is equivalent of a 612.5mm in 35mm and with the 2X extender it will be equivalent to a 625mm in 35mm. Getting together will give me an opportunity to test out the lens and the two extenders that I have.
