Samy of Samy's Camera in Southern California, regretfully passed away on March 27. For those of you who may have known him, he will be missed. A fine man and a good friend to photographers.

I talked to him a few times over the years. A humble, very polite man who is already missed. When his cousin's store Bel Air Camera closed years ago, he found jobs in his store for all that he could. Years later when his Culver City store lost its lease, he moved all those employees to his other stores.
