I am looking at a couple of different styles at the moment that id like to bring to my film photography, and would like any opinions if Sams photos are more about the actual lighting at the time, or are what editing may have been done here?

From what I see there is occasionally grain added, warmth is increased if not natural, blacks and contrast is either way, and colours muted a bit

Thanks

Doesn't really look like a lot was done in terms of technique really -- maybe a slight bit of subtle fill flash (likely on a small soft box or similar mod) and I don't see a lot of evidence of 'added grain'...you can always add more warmth depending on what colours you dial in.
