Salt Lake City to Boulder, Utah. Road kill?

No, not the animal variety

I'll be driving from Salt Lake City to Boulder Utah on Saturday, and I was looking for some guidance on any photographic road kill along the way. I won't have time to make any hikes along the way, so I'm looking for any interesting vantage points from the highway. I would also consider short excursions off the highway as well, but no hiking (unfortunately - I'm a little pushed for time....)

Once in Boulder, I'll be heading into Escalante Canyon for a week, which should be really, really interesting.

My drive to work involves a section of road where there is always dead deer and other animals.
It's a two lane road, State Road 68, better known as Redwood Road, or Camp Williams Road on this particular stretch.
It's on the Southwest corner of the Salt Lake Valley.
I don't know which way you are going, I-80 or I-70, but I'd assume you are going I-80. If you are going the I-70 way, you'll probably find some road kill through Spanish Fork Canyon (US 6/191) on the way to Price and Green River.
You'll probably find some on I-80 in Wyoming.

The obvious thought is to make a very short detour off the 12 into Capitol Reef certainly as far as the visitor centre but hopefully a little further on the side- road that runs on the west side of the Waterpocket Fold. Its good in afternoon light and you're only 40 miles from Boulder.

Off I-70 south on UT 24 I found this little gem!
