There's a wonderful book, "Salt & Silver, Early Photography 1840-1860," published by the Wilson Center for Photography in 1915 for an exhibition at Tate Britain. I wonder if this show is related. Great stuff. I love it.

Don’t you mean 2015? I searched google hoping to find and download an old book but only found this (and related):

https://www.tate.org.uk/whats-on/tate-britain/exhibition/salt-and-silver-early-photography-1840-1860

https://britishart.yale.edu/exhibitions/salt-and-silver-early-photography-1840-1860

Looks like a really great exhibit!

I would love to see Linnaeus Tripe prints in person. Although that's a long trip for me...
I was channeling you NED!! you would have enjoyed it and if I was not on Mark Osterman's facebook page I would not have known about it
there is also a link to a discussion group with Mark and several curators on the museum website.
