This Rolleiflex 2.8e is a great shooter. It had a full CLA by Harry Fleenor. If I recall, this was completed within the last three years or less. Good to go for many years to come.
The camera works wonderfully. It had a busted meter cover, so a plug was inserted. I have no idea if the meter works or not. I never really cared because I don’t really trust the old meters on cameras and I also just prefer using an external one.
The bundle includes:
-Rolleiflex 2.8e with original lens cap
-Like new custom leather full case. This case has the snaps so you can simply remove the cover when shooting. It does NOT hang down in the way like some of the original ones.
-Dead Cameras custom leather strap. I carried this to a local leather craftsman to have the clips attached. It is adjustable and matches the case well.
-Magic Flex bright screen. Simply super bright and easy to use. Love the quality.
-Original focusing screen (not pictured)
-(3) Rolleiflex filters- (2) yellow and (1) uv all with cases
-Graduated yellow filter with holder that fits securely to the metal lens hood. This has the Rollei case with it (strap is busted on one side)
-(2) metal lens hoods- (1) Rolleiflex and (1) Walz – one case included
-3D printed lens hood with shoe mount for small meters
-Rolleiflex pano mount
-Rolleiflex tripod head mount (not pictured, but it is included)
-Rolleinar I with case
-Various plugs for the meter location – One of these is tinted brown to match the leather case and strap. When you put it together, it’s a looker to say the least
-Original Rolleiflex 2.8 box (this is not the one that came with the camera)
-Black Rolleiflex strap (aftermarket)
-Rollei Mutar 0.7x lens with case - Excellent shape, but no flip up metal hood
The camera as pictured includes one plug and one cover over the selenium cell that are both custom wrapped (stars/stripes). This can easily be removed if you want the original solid black that is underneath. Also, the camera shows a custom cover over the original silver exposure scale that is on the back. This too, can be removed if you want to show the original silver scale underneath.
If someone wants the whole package, I'm at $2500 for all of it. I might consider trades for Leica M film gear. I would say Leica digital...specifically a monochrom model, but the price differential is too great for me to tackle at the moment.
