I picked up one of these hoo-dads at a camera gear yard sale. The price was very reasonable (I want to say $10, no more than $20). It did not have the adapter to mount it to a lens, though. Does anyone know if it would take Cokin P mounting rings, or were they proprietary? Same with filters - were they proprietary, or can you use generic filters like Lee gel filters with it?
