Tonight I got bored and decided to look up the date codes on my Canons. With the help of the 2 sites I found, I figured out all the information really quick on my A-1 but now my TX is giving me a bit of a hard time. I got that it was made in September of 1976 but it ends in an 'S' which I can't find on any site I have come across. Is there anyone who is more knowledgable that could help me out? I'd really appreciate it.

What was the answer? This thread had me looking at my cameras trying to figure it out. My F-1 had no ending letter, but it was made in March of 1972... and I didn't have time to check my A-1 or my AE-1.
