Hello, I have in my possession a RZ67 with a couple of problems. First off the 110 2.8 lens doesn't seem to want to do any speed set on the camera. any speed i set i just get the backup mechanical speed. my other lens (a 180 and a 50 i've tried) does not seem to be doing this. i've tried cleaning the contacts but doing the same.
My other problem is with the body. Once i take a exposure the advance lever jams. after a short period of time the camera starts beeping a sound (i've read it signals the shutter being open for too long), if i switch the camera in mechanical mode and lightly press on the shutter button, a tiny sound can be heard and i can advance and use the camera normally.

Can't send for repair since there's no one doing this in my country (also short of funds). anyone have any ideas?

Repair manuals for camera and lens would be greatly appreciated since i have access to a zillion tools so pocking around shouldn't be that difficult.
Thanks!

Your description suggests that the lens cable release socket body might be extended in the mirror-up position. If so, a red ring on the release body will be visible beyond the black plastic retainer.

Read and examine the photos on pages 29 and 30 of the following RZ67 manual "Mirror-Up Operation":

http://www.mamiyaleaf.com/assets/files/documentation/RZ67_Pro_v4.pdf

If this is the case, screw in a cable release into the lens socket and snug it. Then rotate the cable swivel counterclockwise until the red ring on the body retracts into the black plastic retainer and is no longer visible and unscrew the cable.

At that point the lens and camera should return to normal operation.

Can you try with a different RZ67 body? The shutter speeds are determined by resistance, which tells the lens how long to stay open. It's fairly straightforward, there's some RZ67 body repair manuals out on the web somewhere I think, that have the schematics on the shutter speed stuff. It's easy to test the resistances with a multimeter.
