I can cock the leaver and press the shutter on white but the mirror sticks. Only way to release it (lever then won't wind on) is if I change the shutter to orange.
Lens and body cocked, new battery. Have been through the manual several times to try and figure it out. It's a new camera given to me by a friend who hasn't used it for a long time (several years).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks
Thats great it was something simple.
Terrible camera, fantastic lenses.
A good tip is to use a cable release on the lens and fire it after you fire the camera to stop camera shake, or use speeds 125th or faster.
On this, we will have to disagree .
But it is a demanding camera, which can yield wonderful results (with those lenses) if you become sufficiently familiar with it, and your intended use is suited to its size.
The RB67 (which I have more experience with) is similar.
I just want Megan to know its ok to swear at it, they can be temperamental, I refer to mine as Veruca, we often have disagreements, I have on occasions been tempted to throw mine off a bridge, but we dont do that, because when she wants to she can produce amazing pictures and all is forgiven.
