All this talk about 120mm folders and RF cameras has got me interested in something lighter than my Mamiya RZ. I know RB and RZ lenses can be swapped around with some feature limitations. Is there a way to adapt my five RZ lenses to something lighter like a Mamiya 7 II? With the drop in RZ prices selling and buying in a different direction seems too costly. I just thought it would be nice to have something more spontaneous with a 6x7 negative along with my more methodical 7x17 view camera process.

Thanks,

John Powers

I bet it would be easier to adapt your LF lenses. The RZ body provides at least some of the controls for the lens. Plus RZ lenses aren't exactly light or small in my expierence. But you might have a LF lens that would fit an old folder I bet.

Nick,

Thank you.
I believe 110mm is considered the normal lens on the RZ67. The 4.4 pound Schneider Wide Angle 210mm f/5.6 Super-Symmar XL lens is the lowest number lens on my 7x17. I think we are looking at a very nose heavy, wide angle, telephoto, 6x7, folder. That might not be my best route to spontaneous.
