Hello everyone,

Before I jump in I thought I might ask the pros!

I was considering playing around with some 70mm film without needing to buy a new outfit.

I have an RZ67ii - from my understanding there is a "g adapter" allowing me to mount an RB back. I know a 70mm back exists for the RB and have not seen one for the RZ.

Are there any foreseeable troubles I will run into? I'm thinking the designs of the cameras could be slightly different which will not allow me to actually use more than the 6x7 space allows.

One more question for now (although more are sure to come). I understand Illford would take orders once a year, and if there was enough interest 70mm was also provided. Can anyone comment on recent orders and availability? Thanks everyone!

Hey so it's 18 months later and no one replied to you I guess.

Yeah, you have it right - an RB 70mm back with Adapter G will allow you to shoot 70mm on RZ. Note that it requires double-perforated film; the useful region of the film is no wider than normal 120 film, and the frames are still 6x7. The extra film width is all taken up by perforations.

You can shoot up to about 60 frames without reloading though.

The main trap is: how do you develop it? (there was a url link here which no longer exists).

54 images, i have the multilanguage-manual. have also the G-adapter but no cam and working lens. i know someone who can convert it for 120 and 70mm use. it can probably with adapter also be used with 35mm film. i wonder how spacing is calculated since in my mind cogwheel is the calculator and transporter, right? will test multiple 35mm adapter-options. also 35-35 from one cartridge to the other one. so no need for darkcloth.
